Qualifications to Join The KeenCards Project (exceptions can be made, please consult the project coordinator):
1) You must have a Keenspace or Keenspot comic OR have over 100 updates in your archive, and have been producing the comic for over a year.
2) The comic must have at least 20 updates if a Keenspace or Keenspot comic.
3) The comic must continue to update at least once a month, OR be completed, with an archive of at least 100 comics.
Rules of Participation:
1) The artists must join the Keencards@yahoogroups.com mailing list, and receive at least the daily digests. If you have a huge mail problem, and would very much prefer to receive only special notices, contact the project coordinator.
2) The artists must choose which card(s) they wish to produce within a month of joining the project.
3) The artists must produce their card within 10 days of receiving the template for that card, or e-mail the project coordinator to alert her to a delay.
4) Cards should be turned in both as web resolution .jpg files AND as high resolution .tif files.
5) No artist may produce more than four cards per comic. Artists with multiple comics should consult with the project coordinator should they wish to produce more than four cards.
6) All the art and cards used or submitted are copyright of the KeenCards Project. No exceptions. The comics and characters depicted on the cards remain copyright of their respective artists, though.

Rules and Requirements for the Femme Fatale Deck
Requirements for the Card Illustrations:
1) Character or characters must be female (if you wish to make an exception, consult the project coordinator)
2) Cards may be full color, but the dominant color in the illustrations should be the appropriate colors of the suit (see below).
3) Black and white cards will not be accepted, so please include some color.
4) No more than two characters should be depicted per card.
5) Character must be from the webcomic, and must have appeared there in at least 4 updates.
6) Title of the comic may be included, but only if incorporated into the picture. Do not include URL.
Color Guide:
Spades- Yellows and Oranges
Hearts- Reds and Pinks
Diamonds- Blues and Blue Violets (also Black)
Clubs- Red Violets and Purples
Blacks and grays may be used in any card, but should not be permitted to dominate it, except on a club card, in which case black may be a dominant color.
If you want to make any exceptions to these rules, please don't hesitate to ask, but I don't guarantee that they'll be permitted. These rules are here to achieve some uniformity for the deck, as well as to guide the general look of the deck in a certain direction.
